Silk'n LED TriLyft: Build your skincare routine

Discover how to use Silk’n LED TriLyft, which of the 4 modes to choose and how to incorporate LED, EMS and electroporation into your routine.

How to use Silk’n LED TriLyft?

LED, EMS and electroporation in one device: Silk’n LED TriLyft brings some serious beauty tech into your at-home routine. But with three technologies and four different modes, one question probably comes to mind: when should you use each mode?

The most important thing to know is that while LED TriLyft combines three technologies in one device, they are used separately. LED, EMS and electroporation are not used simultaneously. Each technology has its own purpose and place within your skincare routine.

Here’s how to use LED TriLyft, step by step.

Step 1: always start with clean skin

Just like with other beauty devices, a good routine starts with clean skin.

Cleanse your face and make sure your skin is clean before using LED TriLyft. What you do next depends on the mode you’ve chosen.

Using Electroporation Mode? You’ll need to use the included Silk’n Electroporation Serum. We’ll explain more about this below.

Step 2: choose the mode that fits your routine

LED TriLyft has four pre-set modes:

  • Mode 1: Electroporation
  • Mode 2: LED Rejuvenation
  • Mode 3: LED Rejuvenation+
  • Mode 4: EMS

You don’t need to use them all in one skincare session. In fact, the modes are specifically designed to be used separately.

This means you can alternate between them throughout the week depending on what you want to focus on.

Mode 1: Electroporation – get more from your serum

Want to give your skincare routine a technological boost? Choose Electroporation Mode.

Electroporation uses gentle electrical pulses to temporarily increase the permeability of the skin. This helps the active ingredients in your serum absorb more effectively.

Don’t forget the Electroporation Serum

There’s one important extra step with this mode: Electroporation Mode must be used with the included Silk’n Electroporation Serum.

The serum is specifically intended for use during the electroporation treatment and contains ingredients including Vitamin C, glutathione and sodium hyaluronate. The formula helps support brighter, more even-looking skin while helping to hydrate the skin.

Apply the serum as directed in the user manual and then start Electroporation Mode. You can choose from four intensity levels.

  • Treatment time: 5 minutes
  • Recommended use: Up to 3 times per week
  • Intensity levels: 4
  • Important: Always use with the included Electroporation Serum

Mode 2: LED Rejuvenation – for your daily LED routine

On days when you want to focus on your LED routine, you can choose Rejuvenation Mode.

This mode combines three different wavelengths:

Amber 605 nm + Red 630 nm + Near-Infrared 830 nm

Together, these wavelengths help reduce the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation and redness, for calmer, smoother, brighter and more even-looking skin.

Think of this as your versatile LED mode when you want to target multiple visible skin concerns at once.

  • Treatment time: 10 minutes
  • Recommended use: Daily, up to 10 minutes per session
  • Intensity levels: 1

Mode 3: LED Rejuvenation+ – your advanced LED routine

Want to take your LED routine one step further? Choose Rejuvenation+.

This mode uses the same three wavelengths as Rejuvenation but adds Dark Red light at 660 nm:

Amber 605 nm + Red 630 nm + Dark Red 660 nm + Near-Infrared 830 nm

This provides broader-spectrum red-light coverage. The mode is designed to support skin rejuvenation and help improve the appearance of firmness and elasticity while making visible signs of ageing appear less noticeable.

  • Treatment time: 10 minutes
  • Recommended use: Daily, up to 10 minutes per session
  • Intensity levels: 1

Mode 4: EMS – for firmer, more defined-looking facial contours

Want to focus on your facial contours? Choose EMS Mode.

EMS stands for Electrical Muscle Stimulation. Electrical pulses stimulate the facial muscles beneath the skin to support a firmer, more lifted-looking appearance and help maintain your natural facial contours over time.

You can choose from eight intensity levels, allowing you to adjust the treatment to your preference.

  • Treatment time: 10 minutes
  • Recommended use: Up to 3 times per week
  • Intensity levels: 8

How do you combine LED, EMS and electroporation throughout the week?

This is where LED TriLyft gets interesting: you don’t have to choose just one technology.

All three are built into the same device, but each technology has its own dedicated mode. This allows you to alternate between them throughout the week.

For example, you might choose an LED treatment when you want to focus on visible skin concerns, and use EMS at another point in the week to focus on your facial muscles and contours. Electroporation can be incorporated into your routine up to three times per week to help you get more from the included serum.

The important thing to remember: LED, EMS and electroporation are used separately and are not active at the same time.

This allows you to personalise your routine based on what you want to focus on at that moment.

How often should you use Silk’n LED TriLyft?

Here's an easy overview:

Mode Technology Treatment time Recommended use
Mode 1 Electroporation 5 min Up to 3× per week
Mode 2 LED Rejuvenation 10 min Daily
Mode 3 LED Rejuvenation+ 10 min Daily
Mode 4 EMS 10 min Up to 3× per week

When using Electroporation Mode, always use the included Silk’n Electroporation Serum.

Which LED TriLyft mode is right for you?

Not sure which mode to choose? Start by thinking about what you want to focus on during that particular treatment.

Want smoother, brighter and more even-looking skin, while helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and redness? Choose LED Rejuvenation.

Looking for a more advanced LED treatment that also focuses on the appearance of skin firmness and elasticity? Choose LED Rejuvenation+.

Want to get more from your serum and support the absorption of its active ingredients? Choose Electroporation, always in combination with the included Electroporation Serum.

And if you want to focus on firmer, more lifted and defined-looking facial contours, choose EMS.

One device, different moments in your routine

The benefit of LED TriLyft isn’t about using as much technology as possible at the same time.

Quite the opposite.

LED, EMS and electroporation each have their own purpose, allowing you to choose the treatment that fits your routine at that moment. With four pre-set modes, voice guidance, automatic shut-off and a wireless design, it’s easy to alternate between the different treatments throughout your week.

LED today. EMS another time. And electroporation with the included serum up to three times per week.

That’s how advanced beauty tech becomes a routine that actually fits into your week.
